Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Europe, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top maps and navigation apps on Android in Europe showed diverse trends as per data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 324K by the end of June. The app also experienced a rise in weekly active users, growing from 8.2M at the start of April to around 9.7M by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady growth in downloads, with numbers reaching about 283K by late June. The app's weekly active users fluctuated but ended with a noticeable increase from 19.2M to over 22.2M.

Bolt: Request a Ride recorded a gradual rise in downloads, closing the quarter with approximately 256K downloads weekly. Active users showed a slight upward trend, reaching around 7.8M.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced some fluctuations in weekly downloads, ultimately climbing to about 214K. The app's active user base also grew, starting at around 19.8M and peaking at over 21.1M.

Finally, 2GIS: Offline map & navigation experienced varied download trends, ending the quarter at approximately 170K. Active users consistently increased, reaching about 18.5M.
